What is the Marketplace Ministry?
Pastor Stovall Weems (Lead Pastor, Celebration Church) and Pastor Drew King (Chief Business Officer, Celebration Church) have a heart to serve the marketplace professionals of Celebration. Our desire is to equip all business professionals to have strong relationships with God and their families while achieving their God-given destinies in the workplace. Our mission is to train, equip, and disciple Christian professionals (CEOs, business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, and young professionals) to effectively apply Biblical principles and best practices to fulfill God’s unique calling in their lives and in the marketplace.
It is estimated that during the work week in the United States, over 55% of our waking hours are spent in a workplace environment. For many, work has little connection with their faith, but at Celebration we believe faith is relevant to everyday life. By offering relevant curricula and cultivating authentic relationships in a safe and protected environment, we help business professionals ground their work and leadership in God’s original design and purpose for business.
Please note, Celebration’s Marketplace Ministry is NOT A NETWORKING ORGANIZATION. We understand business opportunities might occur organically but we prohibit overt networking. Our desire is to provide a safe place for business leaders to connect without feeling lobbied or targeted, to learn and gain insights from others, and to receive training from subject matter experts.
Groups are the best way to get plugged into the Marketplace Ministry at Celebration Church. We host them weekly during the Groups semester at our Midtown location. Each meeting will have live teaching and prayer followed by roundtable discussion. There will also be time to connect with others. The groups consist of career-minded business people of every age including college students who want to learn and apply Biblically based business principles and best practices into their work environment. Because we understand the demands of work, travel, family, activities, etc., you can attend this group whenever your schedule permits, whether it’s every meeting or once every few months. Our marketplace groups are there to be an asset to our businesspeople who want to learn, grow, and connect.
Our groups are held every Monday during the groups semester from 7:30am-8:30am. A light breakfast and coffee will be provided. Our groups semester starts Monday, February 19th and ends Monday, April 9th.

Do you have one hour per month to invest in yourself or someone else?
The goal of Celebration’s Business Mentor Program is to create a mutually beneficial relationship between mentors (seasoned business leaders) and mentees (professionals seeking development). The mentor gets the satisfaction of passing on wisdom of many years in life and in the marketplace and helping someone else navigate successfully through it themselves. The mentee gets to glean wisdom from someone who has proven themselves faithful and has experience in life and in business to share.
