Small groups have one purpose: to help you put God first. Small groups are designed to help you move one step toward your goal of putting God first in your life. Within the context of new life-giving relationships, you will experience freedom and life-change in a relevant and accessible way.

“Being a military wife, it is hard to find strong Christian friendships because we move so often. In my sisterhood small group, I connected with women who were not trying to be perfect, but women who loved God and wanted to serve Him.”

Sisterhood Group

“I joined a men’s small group and it allowed me to connect with guys who have been in similar situations as me. We were able to encourage one another to grow in our passion for God and his church. As soon as I joined the men’s small group, God began opening other doors for me. I went from attending a small group to leading one of my own and serving on a serving team to leading a serving team.”

Men’s Ministry Group

“Due to our busy work schedules, we decided to lead a marriage group at a time that we can commit to. We started a group for younger married couples and would go out to dinner, or to each other’s homes. We love being able to celebrate things together and be there for one another.”

“I joined a Freedom Group and met amazing men and women who helped me get to a place of truly receiving the perfect, unconditional, healing, restoring love of our Father.”

What happens at a small group meeting?

Small groups are a small gathering of people meeting with one common goal; to put God first. By participating in a small group, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life-giving conversation and request prayer.

How often does a small group meet?

Our small groups meet for three semesters a year—spring, summer and fall, and typically meet on a once-a-week basis.

Where do small groups meet?

Small groups happen throughout the city of Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. Some groups meet in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, on the basketball court, or at one of our Celebration Church locations.

Is there childcare available?

Childcare varies from group to group. When you search our Group Finder for a group, each group will indicate if childcare is available within the group description.

What if I don’t like the first group I try?

The truth is, not everyone will find the best fit with the first group they try. This is why we encourage you to select a few groups that interest you, contact the leaders and try out a couple different groups before choosing the best one for you. The simple strategy to finding success in small groups is to not give up. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone—including you!

In your small group, you can expect:

1. A large church to feel smaller because of your participation.

2. To see diversity of opinion, background, and nationality represented.

3. Life-change to happen within the context of relationships.

4. To learn something new.

5. To get back what you put into your group; participation requires intentionality.

6. To have fun and move forward on your personal spiritual journey.

7. An invitation to join the team to accomplish God’s Dream for Groups.
